Baked Tilapia with White Wine & Herbs  


  • 2 fresh Tilapia fillets, approximately 8-10oz each
  • 150ml (1/4pint) medium white wine
  • 1-2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 4 tablespoons freshly chopped mixed herbs
  • 6 salad onions, diagonally sliced
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2oz butter
  • 1 teaspoon cornflour, blended with a little cold water
  • 2 tablespoons creme fraiche
  1. Arrange the Tilapia side by side in a lightly oiled roasting tin or ovenproof dish.
  2. Pour over the wine, then sprinkle over the chopped garlic, most of the herbs, the salad onions and seasoning to taste. Place half the butter on each fish.
  3. Cover with a sheet of lightly oiled foil, seal in the fish then bake in a preheated oven 350F, for 30-35 minutes.
  4. Transfer the Tilapia to a serving dish and keep warm. Pour the juices into a pan, stir in the blended cornflour and simmer for 2 minutes. Stir in the creme fraiche, pour over and serve immediately, sprinkled with the remaining herbs.

Tilapia Lemon Parmesan



  • 2-1/2 lbs. Tilapia fillets
  • 2-4 tsp. butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 tsp. fresh lemon juice

Lemon-Parmesan Sauce

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbl. fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Garnish

  • 2 lemons, sliced fresh parsley
  1. Rinse the tilapia fillets in cold water and drain thoroughly.
  2. Top with butter or margarine and lemon juice.
  3. Broil about 4 inches from the source of heat for approximately 5 to 6 minutes or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily when tested with a fork.
  4. Top each portion with 1-2 tbl. of Lemon-Parmesan Sauce; broil 2-3 minutes or until sauce puffs and turns golden brown.
  5. Place fillets on serving plate; garnish with lemon slices and fresh parsley.

Fillets Fresh Tilapia with Mustard Sauce


Prep. Time: 1h 30 minutes.

Servings: 06.

Level of Difficulty: Easy.

 

Ingredients:

·         06 Fillets Fresh Tilapia.

·         Salt and black Pepper to taste.

·         03 Eggs.

·         02 Tablespoon Olive Oil.

·         01 Teacup Wheat Flour.

·         1 ½  Teacup Bread Crumb.

·         ½ Teacup Grated Parmesan Cheese.

·         Olive Oil to Fry.

 

Sauce:

·         Teacup Mayonnaise.

·         03 Tablespoon Mustard.

·         ½ Teacup Cream Milk.

 

Directions:

1.      Season the fillets with salt and pepper.

2.      Mix the eggs with olive oil and season with salt.

3.      Cover the fillets in wheat flour, then dip it in the eggs then cover in bread crumb and in parmesan cheese.

4.      Pre heat the oil and fry.

5.      Mix all the ingredients for the sauce and pour over the fillets.

6.      Serve it hot with mashed potatoes and white rice.



Fillets Tilapia in Sauce





Prep. Time: 60 Minutes.

Servings: 10.

Level of Difficulty: Easy.

             Ingredients:

·         10 Fillets Fresh Tilapia.

·         Salt and black pepper to taste.

·         2 ½ Clove of Garlic finely Chopped.

Paste:

·         1 Teaspoon baking Powder.

·         1 Teacup Wheat Flour.

·         ½ Teacup Cornflower.

·         1 Teaspoon Salt.

·         1 Egg.

·         2 Tablespoon Oil.

·         1 Teacup Milk.

·         Olive Oil to fry.

Sauce:

·         5 Tomatoes no Seed.

·         2 ½ Onions Sliced.

·         1 ½ Tablespoon Oil.

·         ½ Teacup Black Olives.

·         Salt to taste.

·         1 ½ Teacup Boiling Water.

·         1 ½ Tablespoon Bite Parsley.

 

Directions:

 

1.      Season the fillets with salt, pepper, garlic and place it aside.

2.      For the sauce heat the oil and fry the onions.

3.      Add tomatoes, olives and season with salt. Add boiled water and let it settle down, add parsley and place it aside.

4.      In a bowl mix the ingredients for the dough until it feels even.

5.      Cover the fillets with the dough.

6.      Fry in olive oil (not so hot) until it get golden on both sides.

7.      Pad dry the fillets in paper towel.

8.       Place the fillets in a serving dish and pour the sauce all over.

9.      Dish is ready to serve.

 



Tilapia Fillets with Capers.



Prep. Time: 40 minutes.

Servings: 04.

Level of Difficulty: Easy.

 

Ingredients:

·         2.2 Lbs Fillets Fresh Tilapia.

·         Salt and ginger to taste.

·         2 ½ Tablespoons margarine.

·         5 Tablespoons Capers.

 

Directions:

1.     Marinate the Fillets in salt and ginger in powder.

2.     Drizzle butter in a baking dish and place the fillets.

3.     Place in oven until it gets that golden look on top.

4.     Bring it out the oven and mix the capers in the blender formed in the cooking procedure.

5.     Place the mixture over the fillets and place it back in the oven for about 5 more minutes.

6.     Serve the dish decorated with rosemary or the way you enjoy it.

 

 

Fillets Tilapia with Cream

Prep. Time: 30 minutes.

Servings: 06.

Level of Difficulty: Easy.

 

Ingredients:

2.2 Lbs Fillets Fresh Tilapia.

2.2 Lbs Potatoes.

1 Onion Sliced.

2 Cans Cream.

¾ Cups Milk.

½ Lb Mozzarella.

Parmesan Granted Cheese to Taste.

 

Directions:

1.     Season both sides of each fillet with lemon juice, garlic and salt.

2.     Boil water and salt and let the potatoes cook for a few minutes until they feel softer.

3.     Mix de cans of milk cream and de milk.

4.     In a baking dish, place the potatoes in the bottom, on top place the fillets, then place the onions over the fillets and pour the cream you’ve prepared, at the end cover everything in mozzarella cheese.

5.     Place dish in oven for 30 minutes. Serve with parmesan shredded cheese on top.

 

Tilapia Fillets and Vegetables


Prep. Time: 40 minutes.

Servings: 04.

Level of Difficulty: Easy.

 

Ingredients:

·         1  Onion.

·         ½ Ounce light Margarine.

·         2 Strips Carrots.

·         1 Green Pepper.

·         ½ Pound Pod.

·         1 Can Corn.

·         ½ Leek.

·         Salt to taste.

·         5 Tablespoons Hot Water.

·         4 Fillets Fresh Tilapia.

·         2 ½ tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice.

·         2 tablespoons Skim Yogurt.

 

Directions:

1.      Cook the onions in margarine and add the carrots, corn, pod, leek and green pepper.

2.      Add hot water and season with salt and let it boil.

3.      Season the fillets in lime juice, salt and place them over the vegetables.

4.      Add yogurt, place the lid over the pan and let it cook in low heat for 20 minutes.

5.      Dish is ready enjoy it!
